Research Center for Topological Graph Theory
A comprehensive study of topological graph theory
A graph is a mathematical model representing several objects with relations, and graph theory describes their combinatorial structures. Mathematics such as graph theory is a foundation of computer science, and recently regarded as a field supporting a theoretical aspect of mathematics and informatics. In particular, topological graph theory, that deals with graphs drawn on closed surfaces, is recognized as an important research area because of the application to date structures and graph minor theory, which strongly leads recent research on graph theory. In our research center, studying topological graph theory centered in our university, we aim to give the above-mentioned impact to various fields and get a progress of all of our research areas.
