Research Center for Re-Learning in the Digital Age

For students who will lead the future, enhancing problem-solving and inquiry skills through the use of information technology is essential. This requires a radical transformation of traditional instructional structures premised on technology integration (Digital Transformation of Lessons). At the same time, the working environment of teachers and the organizational structure of schools must undergo an equally innovative shift (Digital Transformation of School Administration). Moreover, the continuous upskilling of both pre-service and in-service teachers who will drive these transformations on the ground (Human Resource Development) is indispensable.
This Research Center pursues three loosely interconnected pillars—Lesson DX, School Administration DX, and Human Resource Development for DX—through industry-government-academia collaboration. Specifically, it aims to (1) clarify instructional design principles and develop support systems for Lesson DX, (2) clarify enabling conditions and develop support systems for School Administration DX, and (3) develop training programs for both teacher-education students and in-service teachers.
Insights gained from pillars 1 and 2 are fed back into the training programs of pillar 3, and the human resources nurtured through teacher education and in-service training in turn drive DX in schools. By connecting this cycle to domestic and international research networks—particularly with Korea—the Center seeks to simultaneously advance scholarly knowledge and social implementation of Digital Transformation in Education.
