Research Center for YNU Business Creation

At this research center, we will conduct research related to the development of startup businesses and startup ecosystems. Specifically, we will conduct research on advanced startup ecosystems in areas such as Silicon Valley and Boston, in order to clarify the principles of startup ecosystem development, as well as research on the business creation mechanisms of deep tech startups and their social implementation. In addition to this, we will also include research on business creation aimed at innovation within large companies that form startup ecosystems within our scope. In the future, in addition to research related to the development of startups and ecosystems, we will also work to develop educational programs related to entrepreneurship for undergraduate and graduate students at our university. We will also consider planning and implementing a system from a medium- to long-term perspective that will support the entrepreneurial activities of students and researchers at our university and implement university-wide measures to support business growth after the start-up. The main purpose of this research is to create a foundation that can serve as a hub function for the startup ecosystem in the Yokohama and Kanagawa region through the above initiatives.
